This is the welcome video in the video series called Making the move. The series includes 6 videos. The videos are for people with intellectual disability who want to move out of the family home or who have already moved. They offer tips to support people through this journey. They start at the very beginning when you might be thinking about moving. They go right through to settling into your new home. The videos are part of the research project called Choosing the way forward.

This is the first video in the series Making the move. Ben talks about some of the things you can start doing if you’re thinking about moving out.
